The Under the Never Sky Trilogy

by Veronica Rossi

WORLDS KEPT THEM APART.

DESTINY BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER.

Aria has lived her whole life in the protected dome of Reverie. Her entire world confined to its spaces, she's never thought to dream of what lies beyond its doors. So when her mother goes missing, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland long enough to find her are slim.

Then Aria meets an outsider named Perry. He's searching for someone too. He's also wild - a savage - but might be her best hope at staying alive.

It's been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don't take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe's precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.

Threatened by false friends and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, can their love survive through the ever night?

E-Novellas in the Series

The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do—and they are just as determined to stay together.

Within the confines of a cave they're using as a makeshift refuge, they struggle to reconcile their people, Dwellers and Outsiders, who are united only in their hatred of their desperate situation. Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. Then Roar arrives in a grief-stricken fury, endangering all with his need for revenge.

Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble an unlikely team for an impossible rescue mission. Cinder isn't just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival--he's also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.

In this final book in her earth-shattering Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi raises the stakes to their absolute limit and brings her epic love story to an unforgettable close.

Reviews

Under the Never Sky

  • Lauren’s Review: 4.5 stars☆

    • I have mixed feelings about this book. When I tried to read it the first time, I spent two-ish weeks finding other things to do and read after the first 40 pages. It bugged me so much that the author talked about this dystopian society like you are living in it and already understand all of the terms and technology. Until some pages in the 100s-200s, you are left to figure this out for yourself. That is why I almost never continued. However, after an extremely odd beginning, I decided to keep reading. And then it got really good. At about pages 130-150 I decided I really liked it and it only got better from there! The adventure aspect the the idea of Senses were really intriguing and I couldn't put it down. I loved it!!! The one thing I have to say is I still don't know what the aether is, which made me struggle throughout the book. In the end, however, I can't wait to read the next one!!!

  • Aria's Review

    • This book starts off SO FRIGGIN’ SLOW… But then the pace picks up and I’m honestly surprised I haven’t gotten glasses from reading so much in one day yet! I loved this book, and not just because the main character’s name is ARIA, but it is somehow so unrealistic yet so believable at the same time.

Through the Ever Night

  • Lauren’s Review: 4 stars☆

    • SPOILER ALERT!!!!This book was amazing, like the first one, and I liked how the author told the reader exactly what difficult options the main characters had. It is a difficult book because you want things to turn out how they will never be able to. The characters have to give up so much for the greater good. However, the my heart was ripped out in the part where Liv died!!! I didn't completely understand that scene and thought that there were so many other ways it could have ended! What the author did was NOT NECESSARY and I am sooooo sad. It does end in a cliffhanger, so I have already started the third book.

Into the Still Blue

  • Lauren's Review: 4.5 stars

    •  I enjoyed this book a lot. But it was SO EMOTIONALLY DIFFICULT! I thought the beginning was a bit slow, but I loved the adventure in this book. It sounds cheesey, but every book is better when the characters explore their dystopian world. The only problem I had was with the ending. SPOILERS. When Perry whent down with the ship outside the barrier to the still blue, I really wanted chapters describing how he survived! It seemed like there were several chapters that were taken out of the book that were essential to making his survival believable! Apparently he survived in a raft for three days without water and just happened to drift to the island. Also, I was under the impression that the ship went down outside the aether barried. If the opening was higher up in the air and closing quickly, how did Perry get inside of it and into the Still Blue??? I think I knew from the beginning that Cinder was going to die, but I feel like his death was really played down. It seemed like no one was mourning him, which bugged me. He sacrificed himself for their lives in the Still Blue.
